Jinoh Park
Jinoh Park was born in Seoul, Korea. He is currently a student of the graduate film program and has been living in New York City since 1999. His shorts Lunch (6min, 2001), Request (12min, 2002), and Slowly Silently (14min, 2004), have all been invited to the prestigious Sundance Film Festival for three consecutive years (2002, 2003, and 2004) and have also been selected by numerous festivals and screening events around the world, including the Cannes Film Festival; the Pusan International Film Festival; Gijon International Film Festival; many public screenings at theatres in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, and London; and the DGA Screening in LA, among others. He has been praised as one of the best short-film directors in the United States and was mentioned as "a filmmaker to watch" in the Sundance Film Festival's Filmmaker magazine. Request will soon air on the Sundance Channel.
Jinoh is currently working on several different scripts for his first feature-length film, including one that was developed and supported by the Cannes Film Festival's Cinefondation Residency (Residence du Festival de Cannes) in Paris.
